SARF CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION 2022

DISCOVER HOW SANRAL CONNECTS AFRICA THROUGH SMART, SAFE AND RESILIENT ROADS

Since 1988, SARF has produced African Regional Conferences on a regular basis and is recognized as one of the flagship events for the roads sector in Southern Africa. With the support of our co-hosts, the International Road Federation and the World Road Association furthermore the event is gaining wider recognition globally.

Over 420 delegates and 35 exhibitors participated in the last event in Durban in 2018.
From 18 to 20 October 2022, the Cape Town International Convention Centre will host the 7th Regional Conference for Africa & PIARC International Seminar on Rural Roads and Road Safety. Be sure not to miss it!

The N1 Huguenot Tunnel
Did you know?
•The South Bore of the Huguenot Tunnel opened March 1988 and has been in operation ever since. (34 years)
•Over 110 million vehicles have passed through the tunnel to date.
•The North Bore was also excavated, but was not fully commissioned at the time, lacking operational portals and approaches, the road, the ventilation and the lighting.
The N2 Re-Alignment through Somerset West
Approximately 5 500 households to be relocated to make way for this project
