The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of SKI Civil & Structural Engineers (Pty) Ltd invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for the undertaking of the site laboratory sub-services in accordance with SANS 3001 for the SPECIAL MAINTENANCE ON NATIONAL ROUTE R61 SECTION 3 FROM KM 50.8 TO KM 75.5.This project is in the province of Eastern Cape and in the district municipality of Chris Hani and the approximate duration is 13 months including a 3 month mobilization period, commencing October 2024.

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 65%.

Only tenderer who are a Joint Ventures (JV), meet the minimum requirements for the key persons and are registered on CSD as stated in clause C 2.1 will be eligible to tender.

Tender documents are available from Friday, 11 October 2024 at no cost in electronic format downloadable from the SANRAL’s website by following the link:  https://sanral.datafree.co/sanral-tenders/status?region_id=national  ARIBA).   Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to  Friday, 18 October 2024. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Manual (hardcopy)  submission.

Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
