TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Temporary lane closure on N2 at Sarnia Road Bridge
Durban, 27 August 2024 – The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) would like to notify motorists of the temporary road closure on the Sarnia
Road Bridge on N2 northbound and southbound scheduled for 28 and 29 August 2024 between 09h00 and 15h00.
“The closure is due to the final inspection of the Sarnia Road Bridge following ongoing infrastructure improvements,” said Jason Lowe, SANRAL’s Eastern Region Project Manager.
The process will require a temporary single lane closure on the slow lane and traffic will move onto the fast lane on the northbound and southbound carriageway.
Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and allow for possible extra travel time.
“SANRAL apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the public’s understanding as the work to make the necessary upgrades continues,” added Lowe.
