SANRAL ADVISES ROAD USERS OF CLOSURE ON R555 NATIONAL ROAD BETWEEN MIDDLEBURG AND WITBANK
Pretoria, 21 February 2025 – The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) advises road users of a road closure caused by flood damage on the R555 national road between Middleburg and Witbank in Mpumalanga Province.
“The closure is caused by excessive rains which have recently affected the province. A SANRAL team is currently on site attending to the matter and has barricaded the area and implemented traffic accommodation measures,” said Mabuyi Mhlanga, SANRAL’s Provincial Manager for Mpumalanga Province.
SANRAL appeals for road users to exercise extra caution when travelling in this area.
