Lane and shoulder closures on N2 from Linton Grange interchange to St Albans interchange in Gqeberha
Gqeberha, 30 August 2024 – The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) advises road users of upcoming lane closures on the N2 Section 11, from Linton Grange interchange to St Albans interchange, due to a special road maintenance project currently underway.
The scheduled lane closures are as follows:
- 24 August to 3 September 2024 – Westbound: Two 24-hour lane closures
- 24 August to 30 September 2024 – Eastbound and Westbound: One moving overnight lane closure
Motorists are advised that, while no significant delays are expected, reduced traveling speeds will be necessary to ensure safety within the construction zones. The movement of construction equipment can also be expected along these closures.
“SANRAL appeals to motorists to adhere to the warning signs, reduce speed when approaching the construction zones, and plan their trips accordingly as there are no surfaced alternative routes available,” said Andrew Van Gruting, Acting Regional Manager for SANRAL’s Southern Region.
SANRAL apologises for any inconvenience caused.
