TRAFFIC ADVISORY
FOR A TEMPORARY DEVIATION WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE
5th June 2025: The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) would like to notify road users that a new traffic deviation at the Ndabakazi Intermodal Interchange on the N2 national road, Section 17, near Butterworth will be implemented on 6 June 2025 until 11 July 2025.
Traffic on the N2 will be diverted onto the new N2 carriageway and then onto the on-and-off ramps, and back onto the N2.
Traffic on the R409 road will make use of the newly constructed on-and-off ramps and then continue onto the newly constructed N2 carriageway.
“Motorists are asked to plan their trips, accordingly, follow road signage and to use caution when making use of the road,” said Mbulelo Peterson, SANRAL’s Eastern Cape Provincial Head.
